The way he didn't even pretend to flinch when he heard "FBI" and then proceeded to get under their skin! Plus we haven't seem him so much as look straight at Conan here so far o_o

The lady says the teachers skirts are too short, but generally Japanese girls school uniforms often seem to have pretty short skirts? Not always but most seem to be above the knee and some even look like mini-skirts. Here in England you'd never see anything like that, mine was below the knee if it wasn't rolled up at the waist. It seems really silly to say shes "seducing" the lady's son when shes teaching little kids, not high schoolers lol

that's only in anime, the actual uniforms all go below the knee at the shortest. but its still silly to say that she was 'seducing' her kid but that's a large part of ingrained sexist culture that when a male directs attraction to a woman regardless of the woman's wishes it somehow is the woman's fault, that she must have 'done something' to attract the male on purpose. Its disgusting but even women themselves fall into that kind of thinking if they have been raised in a particularly sexist environment

Oh I know its blown out of proportion in anime, but I had been googling it out of curiosity because of how often it is depicted in anime and I still see a fair amount of results showing the skirts cut above the knee, sometimes by a large margin, but that could just be due to rolling the waist up in most cases so idk. Totally agree on the rest though as sad as it is, I was always really glad I went to an all girls school when I heard stories from friends who didn't, about having a lot of male teachers or classes full of boys and the kind of comments that would be made on a regular basis. And it's bad enough that a male teacher would make such comments to a student but for any woman (like in this episode) to have the same mentality is unbelievable

Metropolitan Police Detective Love Story PART NONE! :( to the best of my knowledge the ENTIRE MPDLS 'named' series is over and done with. :( waugh! i loved that part of Conan! well, we do have two interesting bits though! i had to dig deep on one and the other is obvious. Takagi gets himself into trouble in one episode this season! 791, i wonder what he's into this time? and! Yumi's non-boyfriend (and middle Akai brother) Haneda Shukichi has a big big case! 785-86!
